1981 Sears FF18

Good Morning All,
I have a 1981 FF18 that I bought out of a garage that had been there for 15 years. This is in great shape. What would
one of these be worth? I also have a 1967 commander in great shape I would like to sell.

Thanks. I bought for a winter toy to Play with. I cleaned it up and put new tires on the front and changed the ignition. Deck is in great shape also. I took it apart to clean it up and paint. Messed up one of the deck pulleys Getting it off

Well I went to check it out. By the date code on the Briggs I figured out it was a 1981. He said his dad had ordered a shortblock from someone in Wisconsin and he remembers him ordering one for a 18 hp. I've searched high and low. This is the mower I've been searching for. I have not collected in almost 5 years .... But guess what.... I'm baaaaaack! Once you have been bit you can't get it out of the blood.

Any idea on belt size to drive mower deck ? , Thanks , NYBRONC

PICS!!!!

My manual does not list the mule drive belt for the deck. I have also searched and cannot find it anywhere, I'll have to do more digging.

If you do Facebook, there is a group called Sears Craftsman FF tractors that's pretty good.


I use my FF24 mainly as a trailer mover, I've considered some day to build a front end loader for it.
