I repaired a hydraulic leak and then changed hydraulic fluid (JD TY6354) and filter on my 430 JD and now it won't move. Power steering and three point work fine.

Jack rear up with tires off the ground and run her while cycling forward then reverse, and repeat till you purge the air out of the system. May take a few minutes.

I followed Olcowhand’s advice and after about 20 minutes realized something else was causing the problem. When I put the fenders back on I had moved the high-low range lever to neutral and failed to reset it. Live and learn!

Mine will barely move down to unlock it to shift. A lot of my problem is my fender mount rubbers have gone soft to where fender pan is pushing down onto the shift shaft assembly. Have new rubber isolator mounts I need to install and while pan is off I will clean and lube everything well. Then it should shift easily.
My fender mount rubbers seemed to be OK so I put a thick washer on top of them to give more clearance for the shift lever-still tight but will move.
