Is that added on rear axle factory. I have an older model and it’s a beast. I always thought I would like it better as a front mount since at my age I can’t turn my head as good as I use to. You need to list your price and where you are at, zip code would be enough. Good luck

Hi Sawdust: No the rear axle is my invention. I do have the factory axle too and it would go with the sale The two rear wheels swivel also if front mounted so it can turn, The hook up plate is made so it can swivel up and down also and because no lawn or other place you may be mowing is completely flat and level. The mower has to move up and down seperately from the power equipment your pushing it with. I live in NE Indiana. 260 area code. Price is $1600

What motor is on this beast?

This machine would be excellent behind a ATV/UTV for trails or pasture fields or cutting paths for wildlife to walk towards your hunting blind.

Also, there are aftermarket kits to add a hydraulic or electric arm to allow ditch and culvert mowing on steep inclines where it's impossible for a zero-turn to reach.

Some even attach a telescopic extension arm for a deeper pass. The arm extends and lynch pins are used.

My dad on his Craftsman DYT4000 mowing the service access ditch on the side of his farm by the interstate.
I later inherited the machine as he got a zero-turn.

So, your machine works well with a Craftsman riding mower too.

When I was clearing out my property the telescopic offset arm worked great mowing around the base of tree lines. I got mine from a friend that had re powered it with a 12 hp Kawasaki. It’s a beast alright and floats very well along different terrain.

I was doing a large yard for a friends mother but she had so many different things to mow around that I said it would be nice to have this thing out in front of me. That's when I decided to come up with the front mounted thing. I could get under most of the bushes she had growing and then I didn't have to go around with a trim mower. However, this lady passed away and I downsized so now I need to find it a home.

Yes there is no reason it would not.

What were you pushing it with. Did you have any trouble with steering or need front weights.

I have a '54 country squire that belonged to my grandfather. As far as steering there is no problem. Just have to use to calculating turning radius. When I made the rear device I made those wheels swivel also, so turning is effortless. You don't need weights cause it is self supporting. The hitch mechanism enables the mower to move up and down as the ground desires so all 4 wheels are always in contact with the ground.
