My favorite cars are the 70-72 cutlass', preferably the fastback 442's/S models. I wouldn't kick that 69 Hurst out of the garage though.
Also that GSX, oh my!

I used to be a muscle car fanatic but for some reason they just don't seem to trigger me like they used to. I guess I've gotten more into the older stuff and maybe it's because I lived through the muscle car era and not the old car times. Still enjoy looking at all car photos though. Thanks for posting them.

Me too Jim! I saw her from the grandstands in person twice, at Daytona, the Firecracker 400, July 1974 and the Daytona 500 in 1981!

Then there was "Jungle Pam Hardy"! She started a trend of drag racers having "Back up girls" way back in the early '70's.

Me and my girlfriend now wife use to go to Edgewater Drag Strip in Cincinnati back in the 70’s a lot. We seen Jungle Jim and Pam many times. I had to focus on his car and not Pam many times.
