I can see this electronic crap happening to cars soon especially going to EV vehicles. You raise the hood or maybe you can’t raise the hood then you have a label Authorized Technician Only.
His is the 2nd Mahindra failure owned by people I know/knew personally. The other one belonged to Reno, who passed away from cancer complicated Covid. His Mahindra tractor broke literally in half where castings were too thin at the bell housing area. He also told me back after his broke that he learned of many other that had broken.
Mahindra was one of the tractors that I had originally looked into. Found too many horror stories and decided to keep looking. Nothing Chinese. Decided to stick with one of the long established brands. This doesn't mean you can't have problems but in the end the resale value is going to be higher if you need to move on.
I will keep my old Ford. Everyone I know who has one of those odd ball things has had problems with it. My old Ford, and the even older Hinemoto, start every time, and do what they should.
