Is there someone with one of those tractors kind enough to give me the measurements and may be pictures of the transmission dipstick? Mine is probably too wide (even hard to fit in the tube) and the bottom end I can read "FULL" but with no line/mark for the level and pretty much no buffer zone to know the "current" oil level. In fact the F isn't complete as the dipstick stops right at it.

I'd be interested to know the width (or is it round? then diameter) and the length from the cap to the mark(s) for the levels so I can copy it.

Thanks in advance!

It’s 3/8” wide, overall length from the bottom of the plastic cap is just under 11-3/4”. The full line is right around 10-3/4” even though the picture looks like 10-11/16”. So it looks like you’re missing an inch below the full mark.DDBB3A39-12C4-49EA-B5D1-50CA6836A9A3.jpeg1C2593B7-CA6E-452C-ACE3-9C1E400C6B3A.jpeg054DAF90-9F57-46DD-8FD2-60236327627B.jpeg58927FE1-F827-40EE-84DF-89EBD07838DE.jpeg

Wow this is perfect! It means my dip stick is the original one but was cut off at the "F". I'll see to copy the specs you gave me, it's really annoying as it is.

Thank you!

I forgot to mention that it is difficult getting the dipstick back in tube like you mentioned. It does takes a bit of wiggling.

Well, I copied it yesterday, I cut it out from an old bandsaw blade. I made it a bit narrower than original but still it's a pain to get it back in the tube. I can't say I am impressed by this setup, don't know what they were thinking but it's really far from ideal.

I tried to slide down a ~1/8" / ~3mm round rod and if it has a small bend on it's first half (to follow the tube's bend a bit) it is way easier. I will try to find a round dip stick from a car and fabricate one from that as to have a real solution to this.
