April car show cancled.

A fella I knew passed away last week and is being buried today. He was an antique car collector and operated Car Life Museum that his father started years ago. Kevin MacKay had many car of his own and what’s in the museum. This orange car was his favorite, I believe. I did not know kevin very well. But we know each other and spoke when we’d meet at a show or what ever. He was 64.

I am going to go and sit by the grave yard. Should be a bunch of old cars show up

Young man. Shame.
You do get to meet some very interesting people at car shows.

Is such a shame when a younger fellow passes, no mater what their pursuit in life was, old car/trucks or tractors and lawn equipment. They all had that disire to save a part of the past their past even.

Owner of this car passed away about November 2019. He was only 57 and had not been retired long.
This is his beautiful Ford, he had mirrors under the hood so people copuld better see the engine compartment.
This is the car he brought to the shows and won many awards with. How ever it was not his true love. He had a even older Ford Convertable he and his girl friend went on non car show week end drives in.

This is his girl friends truck he and a buddy chose to go to a much larger show than this one. The girl friend got another lady to come to this show. It was her first time ever winning a award. Just about in tears accepting it, she never went a show along again. How ever she will now if she doesn't quit going altogerher.

We also lost George in Febuary a Buick man thru and thru.
He had a 1955 Buick special and I believe a 67 225. Geroge hd just made it to 78.

Ya sad when somebody dies. Was a lot of cars and trucks at the burial today. Be a hundred or more. Probably the only car show we will see this year.

Great cars and trucks turning out for a sad occasion, Noel. I think you posted a pic driving the Rambler in front of that museum quite some time back?

That HEMI Charger is just too cool. Thast's one of those cars the owner would be afraid to drive much though. Can't risk devaluing such a rare car.

Yes Doug I did post a picture last summer of the rambler in front of the museum, with the rebel machine.
I wish I could of takin the rambler today, but the seats are out of it getting recovered.
and I figured you would like the pictures of the trucks.
yes the hemi is not out much. But I thought it would be there today. But it was not. The family drove in, his daughter was driving, in a 1967 ? Black Barracuda. 273, four speed.
