Always make sure the batteries in your tractors are hooked down!!! Learned a lesson last weekend with my jd 300 pushing a brush pile thought i had at least a bungee cord holding it in place but i must've had the battery out for some reason an forgot to put it back on next thing i know i saw a spark shower an battery acid all over the tractor, its all cleaned up but i lost a fairly new battery out of a simple mistake

A bungee cord? Fortunately only cost you a battery. A piece of metal strapping out of any dumpster or lumber yard to anchor battery is a better alternative for budget minded Tractorologists.

Not when the bungee cord is in hand and the other stuff in 15 miles down the road. Next time your at Menard's pick up a clamp kit in their plumbing section. 3 or 4 ends, couple splice pieces and around 6' of the clamp strap. For get what they call it now but a real life saver.

Tractor Supply, Wal-Mart, O'Rylies, etc They are cheep. Get the universal ones.
