Bolens 1054

We are currently working on a 1054 that we have had in storage for at least 10 years. My son Joseph did a quick introduction video

We found that the exhaust valve was stuck and it was really stuck. After removing the valve we noticed some marks on the top of the block. One is a picture of a fish and the other the the markings “T2”. Does anyone know what they mean?

My son Joseph finished making a video covering some of the work we did on this tractor. We still have work to do on the carb and governor which will be a winter project.

It is interesting that you should say that as we are currently exploring the idea of making some Bolens overalls as my current JD ones are getting a little small

The marks on the block usually are
Put there to tell the next machinest who was into it
And what they did.
Could be that only that machine shop would understand the stamps.
