Brinly plow to 3 point

I am looking for info on operating problems I may encounter. I am going to bolt on(weld on{) sleeve hitch to a 3 pt adapter for my brinly sleeve hitch plow. I am not putting it on a hitch to receiver. too many ;oose parts View attachment 63963View attachment 63963

The problem with a set up like the picture is it puts the plow pretty much at the center of the tractor and you'll likely need to move the plow well right. I did something similar with a Simplicity plow (similar to sleeve hitch) and a 3 point adapter that was sleeve hitch specific. I drilled a series of holes across the horizontal bar so I could move the plow left and right. Mine seemed to work OK the one time I used it.

I'd suggest you put the left of your tractor on blocks and the sleeve hitch adapter on the plow and get everything properly lined up before attaching the sleeve hitch adapter. Ideally you'd find a way to mount it in some way that was adjustable.
