With a slight chance of snow tonight and tomorrow I thought I should get the blower mounted up. Fired the tractor up and it ran ok at WOT. As I slowed it down it ran worse and worse until it would die just above idle unless the choke was pulled out about 2/3rds of the way. Pulled the bowl off the carb and found a little water and rust sediment. Cleaned it out and fired it back up and with a little adjustment its running good again. I'll mount the blower this afternoon.
Next up was the Yanmar 1510D. My nephew was using it and ran it out of fuel last week. Tried putting fuel in last week but it wouldn't go. I wasn't sure of the bleeding procedure, so I looked it up last night. It's pretty straight forward with 2 bleed screws at the filter housing, one bleeder at the injector pump, and then crack the lines on the injectors. I just did the bleed screws and gave it a try. It sputtered a few times, then nothing for about 4-5 revolutions, then some smoke and away it went. Got lucky and didn't need to bleed the injector lines.
And the final project was a sprayer that was drained but never got winterized. Used a heat gun to warm the pump and melt some ice on the pickup tube. Warmed all of the lines for about 15 minutes and gave it a try. It started pumping the RV antifreeze through the recirculation system then I ran the nozzles and wand. It appears to be OK with no breaks or leaks.
