I did have this started in another thread but going to post it here separate so i can add to the thread easier . Rover Rancher 2, mod raising the clearance height
here is the chassis after cutting the unwanted parts out
and the Mid 1980's Rover Rancher Rider transaxle 5 speed diff just set ready to make brackets for .
not real good photos but diff brackets and diff fitted
and bolted in .
now the rough bit, i walked around the natural selection of parts lol in the garden shed and the rider graveyard to sort some compatible parts and this is what i come up with for wheel adaptor kits for the rear wheels from 8" to 13" wheels to get the height when i draw rows ready for planting and de-weeding .
i found a pr of 6" rims to use best part the keyways are the same
as the axle key slots then set and welded the small rims to the 13"wheels to fit the diff.
< wheels done fitted and finished and they both spun with no wobble in them at all
,in front of the diff is the clutch belt plate mount ready to weld in , all i done is relocated it from the original position instead of making new gear for it
more to come
