Got the 1218 Power King for its fall check up got the deck off power washed it sharpened the blade greased the spindles checked it over its good to go, the 1218 needed a complete servicing and the engine was a bit grimy the breather tube had come out the hole on the engine and little spills from adding oil, so I sprayed on degreaser let it soak a bit then power washed the complete tractor, last time I power washed it a couple of years ago when started the engine to back the tractor into the shop the voltage regulator failed so this time I was careful not to start the engine pushed thetractor back into the shop by hand, used the blow gun to blow off the water and try and dry things didn't mess with it for about 1.5 hrs then I only turned the switch to check the lights, later started the engine an the darn voltage regulator had failed again, can't figure it out I wash all my tractors and this is the only one that blows the VR. And this tractor is PITA to get at the regulator but got it changed this morning and its charging again at 14 VDC
