Well I'm closer to the 8hp being ready to go onto the tiller. I got it apart, my son took the crank to work and machined the PTO end to fit, (hey it was free to have done) and I blasted and painted the sheet metal off of it
I didn't know that Rust-Oleum had a "Troy bilt red" but that's what I used. It's closer to "newer TB red" than "old" TB red (a lighter red than the 70s machines were) but still looks good. I may pull the stone shield over the winter and blast/paint that.... If I do I'm just gonna mask off the decals as they're still pretty nice for 52 years old
