Farm King neutral slide bracket

My latest Farm King came with no neutral slide bracket so you had to pull it back to neutral before you could put the brake on instead of going to neutral when you pushed on the brake pedal. I have looked all over for a replacement piece to no avail. I am now in the process of trying to duplicate one. Here is what i have so far.



I now have the shape and bend or weld the support tabs.

I finally got back to working on this slide bracket. Welded one piece on and then ran out of welding wire. so a trip to Menards and back then had to give up for the day.



The new one looks larger but isn't it's just in front of the old one. You can just barely see the lip I welded on for support. I still have to trim both edges to match the shape of the other one and bend the tab.
