FEL Loader picture thread

Uh Oh…I bought another loader⛈

This one is a Johnson for the early Allis and Simplicity garden tractors. I’ve only seen three of these pop-up in this configuration and this one is one that a buddy of mine purchased a couple years back. He is doing some consolidation and opted to send it my way. I couldn’t say no! It has been nicely refurbished and is ready for work or play.

Nice looking AC and even better with a FEL!

Wow! I would love to have one of those Johnson loaders for my B112. I see you have to re-route the exhaust.

Yup...I had seen a couple Johnson's on these over the years, but always with a modded or homemade frame. When this one popped up, everything looked 'right' to my buddy and I, and then a piece of Johnson literature came up for sale that showed a B112 with Johnson...including the exhaust reroute that uses the OEM Nelson muffler. He was sold...and so now that he is letting it go, I am too! It was neat to find out they actually offered this, since the Henry built loaders for Simplicity and Allis are so common. I'm waiting for this to make it's trek from Nebraska, to me, in Michigan.

Got my recent acquisition cleaned up a little this past weekend. I had to chase a wiring gremlin down to get it to start and run, add a battery and I converted the fuel pump to 12V. This one will be looking for a foster home, and it will be tough to see go.

The pair of Danco's made nice and sat still long enough for a photo. Plenty of tractor rides yesterday.

I have to share my 1954 model she's a keeper for sure. She insisted on helping to shovel top soil to be taken to the garden. Seriously I've enjoyed this thread looking at all the rigs. There not that common either around me for good money. Even then pumps are shot or hydraulic lines are all rotted. I've been researching to build trying to choose the best plans.
