First melon

I planted some this year, we have never had good luck with them. I actually got some melons once I got vines from being eaten. The first one I left on too long, soft flesh and had the spoiled taste. I just picked the other two like yours, need to get them cut and see what we have. not sure I will get anymore only couple on vine and not looking like they are growing.

We have ate a few and need to give some away. Ripe and need used as we cannot' eat that many with just the 2 of us. Watermelon are coming along good as well. 4 seeds in on hill and all four grew and have 4 big melons and a few small ones. Be another couple weeks yet. Watering time again in the morning.
