Found A Good Weed Killer

I went to buy my usual weed killer last week and I was surprised on how much it was now. What was $22. a gallon last year was now $16. a quart and only made 8 gallons. I bought this stuff called Compare and Save that makes 21 gallons at $17. a quart. That’s about .80 a gallon. Not for sure how good it was so I only bought the quart size . You can plant two days after you spray and it takes about 4 days before you see any results. I’m planning on adding some gravel in my driveway so I sprayed there first. These pics are exactly 5 days later. I missed a few spots so I went back and sprayed a little more yesterday. Next time I’ll buy the gallon jug at $50. that makes up 85 gallon.

From my experience they also poop where you don't want them to. Had to get rid of ours because it wanted to spend all of it's time on or around the front porch.

They like to climb. You need to provide a Jungle Jim.

Goats end up standing on top of the cars and trucks in the yard! I used to watch two goats on the acre to the north of us. I would have shot them when they climbed on my vehicles, and I think that may have happened to them!

Last year I couldn't get Roundup at Menards to I tried Spectracide. Works just as good, about half the price and has a much better electric spray gun on it. Nope, I don't mess with mixing.

I started using MaKaze a couple years ago. Cheaper them Round-Up, not as toxic and seems to work as good but faster. It was like $65 a gallon but don't remember how much it mixes up. I think it takes 1.5oz per gallon of water for a 2% mix if I remember right.

The hoof pads on goats are soft and don't hurt the paint on vehicles a bit. They use that softer pad for traction when climbing.

I've used Spectracide weed and crabgrass killer concentrate for years. works to kill dandelions and clover in grass with no harms to the grass. About $10 for 40 oz. 5 oz per gallon.

At 100+ pounds for a goat, I'm thinking dents rather than scratched paint. They jump from the ground to the hood, then hood to the roof, then repeat to get down!

I tried that several years ago, Noel. No luck. It turned the edges of dandelion leaves brown but they kept right on growing.
