Sorry about the storm damage, that was a shit-show last night.

That had to come down when the power was out and we were ready to head to the basement. Never heard a thing but I think it came down fairly easy as it was going against the wind. Worst part is the scanner antenna was about half way up the tower. Antenna is OK but no height & laying horizontal the signal is non existent.

Did it punch holes in the house roof? There were several tornadoes reported in your area it looked like, Roger! Glad no injuries at least!

Don't think so. It was the end of the antenna that hit the roof.

While cutting back the guy wires I looked things over closer. Maple tree broke the fall of the top sections, antenna first. Hit between the ribs on the roof and close to the bottom edge so I think it hit with a solid board under the steel. Will check with the neighbor and see when he is free with his telehandler. Should be able to get the forks under both pieces next to the wood pole, chain the tower to the machine, then cut the one leg and trumpet vines and cables free. He can then lift it up and over a bit and back out and set it down on the ground. Hope it goes as easy as it sounds.
