Why are the roll bars so high on these new tractors. That would almost protect you while standing up.

Wouldn't be good for me. I take the tractor into the woods some times. Roll bar like those is no good for in the woods. Even folded down I would say is still a pain. Just my thought.

Mine won’t fit into the garage or the shop with the roll bar up. Can’t fold it down because the cab is attached to it. I have one door that is 10x8 that it just barely fits through.

I think the theory is, if the tractor does tip over, the taller bar may help keep it on it's side instead of going upside down, and possibly a full rollover. Whether or not the bar is actually strong enough is another story.
