How do I change the boom lift speed at the end of the operation?

Hello!
I'm working on a design for a load-lifting boom that needs to extend and rotate at the same time. One of the key requirements is to control the speed of extension and rotation towards the end of the mechanism. Here's the breakdown: For the first 30 seconds, the boom should extend at 0.3 m/s, and for the last 10 seconds, it should slow down to 0.03 m/s.

I'm not a hydraulics expert myself, but I'm diving into this. I have found that it is best to use a hydraulic proportional valve and an adjustable axial piston pump. I understand load-sensing control, where the pump adjusts pressure based on the load on the boom.

What puzzles me is how to force the extension speed to change when the load remains constant. Any thoughts on what direction I should explore and what equipment I should focus on? Any ideas on how to set up this system?

Thank you!
