John Deere 112 on tracks

Seen this at a local swap meet and thought you guys enjoy.
Talked to the guy and said it’s homemade ( not by him) and that he just takes it shows .
Interesting piece. The guy I’m assuming he is semi local to me and possibly Jake even knows of this fellow. I will say I was watching him move around and he was careful how he turned due to maybe the tracks coming off. All in all pretty nicely done.

That's a new one on me, Bill. Looks like the tracks are a little short for center of balance, looks like he has a caster wheel under the front to hold it up, especially with having the blade hanging off the front. If he went with a bigger front idler, he could have gotten away with a half track, probably wouldn't turn as sharp as having it full track. If he put a full rack of weights on the rear he might be able to do away with the caster wheel. He probably got a well used set of mini excavator tracks, hence the short foot print and going easy with it.
