A while ago I picked up a 1973 Ariens Trac Team. It came with a snow blower, leaf shredder, and a mower. Then I found a leaf vac for it and later, a lawn sweeper. On display at a show.

And a little Hahn snowblower showed up one day for him. Neighbor gave it. The engine is free, but the controls are rusted fast.

There was a tiller made for a later model. Was thinking of trying to retrofit it to work with ours. But storage is getting to be problem.

It is one of those where the hunt is as much fun as a find. And then to watch Junior try out each new attachment is great.

I used that bad boy to sweep the stone back onto the drive last spring. That thing would throw me around without mercy. Try to knock me over and then back over me. I never knew that sad 8 horse Tecumseh had so much power.
I set it up different now for junior I operate.

How's the cut with the mower?

Gives an excellent 70's cut. Only it feels 10 times as heavy as a modern push mower. Very good at tiring out a lad.

Its the small version of a Gravely. At one point I was considering getting into those instead. This gives an interesting twist to the good ol Ariens snowblower. The extra attachments are something new to many people. How is your Gravely treating you by now?
