Kholer coil

My neighbor needed a coil for a Kholer 12.5 hp engine
I ordered one, and he said it needs two terminals instead of one. I can't fine a dual terminal. Model anywhere. Not even on Kholers website.

Oh. I thought for a minute that you were talking about a real Kohler. Battery ignition and a "car" coil

Yep. And not what he says he needs. I have to hobble over and look at it.

If his has one wire just grounded at a mounting screw, the new one has the coil grounded internally where it can't be seen.

I am fairly sure I figured it out. The extra wire is blue. The only blue wire on the diagram is for the voltage regulator.
