I got this out again today! Thought the magneto was bad, no fire issue! Looked to see if a Weedeater mag would work, close but not usable. Stuck the original back on and it tried to start on carb cleaner. So the mag was good! Spent most of the day caressing this old gal and she came back to life! Now I have a miniature tiller! This has a Tecumseh TC200 2-cycle engine on it. Never knew they existed! Had the pull start off, it needed some TLC and a spring that doesn't show in any parts list I have found.


This is a 24:1 fuel mix! A first for me!

I found the parts for the recoil. I needed the brake spring (#5) and a new pawl (#15).

24:1! I had a outboard with that ratio,,,it produced a nice trail of blue smoke and kept the mosquitos at bay.

I have a 65 yr old outboard I've been running on 40:1 mix for several yrs and no bad effects. The instructions on the cowl say to mix 30 wt. motor oil, but I believe 2 stroke oil has come a long way over the years.

Gotta fix a fuel leak at the tank outlet, my hose is just a bit small for the hole and lets it seep out.

a minor hiccup Kenny , i want to get a look at mine yet as the grass is starting to grow quick now around my garden , i want to use mine around the border edge of the dug section as weed control to keep it tidy
