I got a free piece of angle iron today and decided to start on a battery tray. I will also add battery tie downs and in the middle I will weld in a flat piece of steel. It so much more fun fabricating parts instead of buying them.

I messed up I didn't count in the ridge used for holders in cars so the battery don't fit in it. I wonder if I can take a knife and trim the ridge so the battery will fit

Pretty cool keep us posted I have a 47 a that I need to build a box for since it's been updated to a 12v system and from the little research I've done I cant fond a 12v box or if I did it's very expensive either way I've decided in time to build my own since i got my hobart 140 running
