If that was attempted any where in the US it would require the approval of 18 or 20 federal agencies, another couple dozen state and county bureaucrats, and several thousand dollars investment in permits and it still wouldn't be legal.

Hi All this area has now been faced of with a membrane and then a rock face added this was a measure taken before it was put in place all is well I will get a picture when I am next down, and all the usual rules and regulations had to be followed

Sounds good. A lot of shore line, even on small bodys of water, have been lost due to improper rip rap. Learned a day late and dollar short that something was needed behind the rock to hold the dirt as the water would wash between and behind the rock.
