Got a text this morning to come look at a Simplicity 7116.
Checked it out and brought it home.

Got it home and pressure washed it. It cleaned up nicely.
One little tear in the seat. All the tins are straight.
Engine fires right up. Electric lift functions.
Mower deck spins freely and quietly.

That tractor looks to be in great shape, Rick! A question from the uneducated---what kind of a rear hitch is that? It doesn't look like a 3 point or a sleeve hitch from what little I've ever seen. About what year or years were they made?

Hitch... ? there isn't a rear lift. There are brackets for lift arms. But i don't know much about simplicitys.
Tractor data says 1979-1986. I haven't run my numbers yet.

Simplicity's and Allis Chalmers had a rod that stuck out from the round rod at the top. They had a chain from there down to a Brinly hitch, if equipped.

I should have said brackets. Sorry. I assumed those brackets were part of some type of hitch. Wrong wording.

I had a an Allis Chalmers ( simplicity) for several years. Best cut I ever got, and very capable at snow removal with blade and chains. Enjoy it.
