New HF paint gun

I shot this truck for my son with the $12 HF HVLP gun. If you buy one strip it to the bone and clean,,i had issues with mine having erratic spray when i first tried it.
My other gun is a gravity CH gun Ive had 20 years. For $100 it’s been a very good gun but like others state the operator is critical,,so many variables such as viscosity of paint, volume, air pressure and spray pattern.

I have two shipping containers to paint this summer so picked up a new syphon paint gun. Will be painting with latex paint. Gun came with three nozzles, 1.4; a 1.8; and a 2.5. Not having sprayed latex before, which nozzle should be used for the thinned down latex paint? Just guessing the 2.5 due to the thicker consistency of the paint.
Roger I’m guessing the 2.5. When I sprayed that dining room table and chairs I posted awhile back with my HF gun I drilled the 1.4 factory nozzle out to a 2. Sherwin Williams recommended not to thin but there’s no way it can be sprayed without thinning. I went on YouTube and most everyone recommended drilling them to a 2. I got a good spray pattern but it could have had a little more paint but it worked out well for me.
