New metal blade for the Skilsaw

My brother said they use these blades in the when he is out on a job site for cutting sheet metal. Says they work pretty good. I need to cut some roofing and siding for the Bump-out project so I though I would get one to try. This is a Diablo steel demon 7 1/4 in.

We have those in a regular sheet metal circular saw. Works great. Cut up to 1/4” like butter.

I’ll have to try one of those. I’ve been using their wood blades for awhile. I use to use only Freud blades a lot years ago. These are much less expensive. Let us know how they work out.

just put a steel blade in backward and set the saw to full depth cut on grass. You definitely need muffs no matter which blade you use.

I use an angle grinder with cut-off wheel.

On the shed project we used a plywood blade on the saw backwards. Worked well. Had to make sure I had goggles and gloves on. Good luck.

Finally put this blade to use.

That will make your ears ring ! We used to take an old blade and use it back wards for steel. Lengthwise used a dry wall knife.
