New snowblower

Well. I took the deep dive and bought a Walker B27i with 42" snowblower attachment and 42" mower deck, also has electric lift for the blower. Got to try it out today and it is a snow eatin' SOB. Had a lot of snow yesterday and today and drifting snow today. It cleared the driveway and mailbox easy, both with a plow berm to boot. Having a long learning curve on the hydro sticks. Her's a couple of pics. The salt bags are for weight. Theyb sell a weight that bolts on the rear but I've already spent enough.

Super looking rig. I hope you'll consider putting those salt sacks in garbage bags so that box doesn't get rusty.

I've made some improvements. Had a hand crank chute rotator, adapted a 12v reversible gear motor to it and put a locking throttle cable on the chute deflector.

Those are a tough machine. Lot of the commercial outfits that own their equipment have them. Rest lease them from JD and only run them for a season.

It got a good challenge this AM. A friend had 2 three ft drifts. Took a little finesse but it chewed thru them. Wish I'd taken some pics.
