Got 6” of wet snow last nite, so took the MF 12 out and pushed a bunch of snow. And used the thrower too.

Hi Noel did you use the blower on the back of the MF 12 and how id the blowing go with the wet snow? We got a couple of inches then light rain most of the day but we are suppose to get another 6 / 7 inches thur Monday right now its 33*F about O C boy 33 sounds so much better than 0 :p

Yes Gary I did use the rear thrower. Worked great. Even the heavy stuff the highway plow put in the end of the driveway was no problem. Never plugged up once during all the use. The plow worked great too. I really didn’t think the tractor would move any of the wet snow, front or back attachments. I was just going to move the MF 12 aside and take out the LGT 165 Ford. But thought I’d try it. Worked great. Took a little longer and was a bit harder on the back. But we did it.
The storm you mention is what we are getting New Year’s Eve, I think. We normally stay home, so the storm won’t bother us.

Hehe. Some days it’s fun Doug to move the snow and others not so much. But gald I have the tractors and able to get out and do it. Surprising how much the tractor will push. I got in a little to far today and the tractor would only back out about a foot. Then stuck. But I knew I could still go forward abit then back out. Which is what I did. Great traction when weighted these garden tractors.

I already blew a foot of snow out of driveway this am and it’s been replaced. Big winds make my new helmet handy for snow blowing. Flip down goggles
