So I’ve had my chat with all the tractors about what going on and what’s going to happen within the next day or so. And all tractors agree that it’s time for the Case 446 to show them what it can do. Been here for a year and a half. Time to see it at work. All tractors agree to be on stand by for the Case thou.

Jumpins. People talk to their plants, why can’t I talk to my tractors ? Hehehe

Noel
I actually just got home...not nice one lane already in a few spots with large drifts and one lane and white outs. Stay in and talk to your tractors Noel lol.o_O

Ya getting bad out for sure Jason. And I’m staying in where it’s warm. In the house. Tractors in garage.

Do you have one of those baby monitors set up in case the tractors start having issues about who goes first or why? They may be making their own plans for you, Noel! You probably need to listen while in the house riding out the blizzard!----LOL!

Good luck with the storm!

Well it sure worked good the Case 446. Lots of traction. Doesn’t throw as good as the other tractors. So getting the snow over 5’ banks doesn’t happen. And I had to rethrow the snow 3 times to get it off the driveway into the woods. Just because it won’t throw very far. But tractor worked good, will need to use high test fuel in it. Was pinging a little. And I think I read in the manual to use high test fuel. Any way so far, so good.

Hey Noel good to hear that its working good have you installed rubber paddle extensions on the blower paddles? I've read that it helps I tried it on mine but didn't have the right kind of rubber belting and it wore off in a short time, so how much snow did you end up getting?
Chris had a plastic discharge spout extension he installed and reported it helped I attach pictures he sent me sure looks good

That sure does throw the snow...holy crap !!!!

Ya Gary. I’ve tryed those rubber things on the JD thrower. Didn’t seem to do any thing. Chris’s thrower sure puts it out.

Noel
Two things with the JD blower, either get a tall chute (there's a Ariens snow blower one thats a direct fit), or a round chute off a older JD blower. Another thing is putting a smaller belt pulley or auger sprocket on it. The blower on my 316K has the older round chute and two less teeth on the sprocket. As long as it's not sloppy wet snow, it throws pretty decent.
