Plowing, Discing, Tilling, and Planting

Question , moldboard plowing , when i use it i am getting excess dirt exiting on the landside ,

Could this be because i don't have a colter to slice the dirt and help control the dirt rolling ?

I am not sure whats going on. Was the ground already worked/tilled up when you tried plowing?

You have a sleeve hitch type plow don't you, Shane? Could be the plow is not following straight behind the tractor, forcing the landside over and pushing the dirt.

I'm thinking it's tracking OK as it's not dragging the tractor sideways but I'll toy with it some more and double check the unit set . might have to buy the proper moldboard for it.so it rolls the dirt better .just can't find one atm cheap enough

The temps have been in the 50's for the last several weeks with one day almost hitting 60 degrees so the new grass keeps growing. We've been getting a bit of rain also as you can see by all the water in the field.
