Saw This 1950's Ford........

at the grocery store in my town about 2 weeks ago. He just pulled in the parking lot and wasn't even out of the car yet when I snapped the picture. Unfortunately all our old big c-body platform Mopars are all tucked away for the winter so it was nice to see another old car out on the road this time of year. I think it's a 1951 or 1952 model, but the Caddy wheel covers are a nice touch.

my grandfather had a car similar to yours but his was a '49

If I remember right the 49 and 50 were real close to the same car. Flat head V8. 54 the first of the OHV engines if I remember right.

This one looks like a '51 to me. 49 and 50 had that center grill bullet that had a space in the hood for it. 52 was a new body style.
