I picked up a 7112H yesterday mainly for the green snow thrower. Pic is from the ad. The thrower will go with my DA 716H.

If I get rid of a tractor it would be the 7112 6 speed.

Cat hit the nail on the head. No mower will make you lawn look as nice as a Simplicity deck. Yours being a hydro is a plus also. My wife would always comment about how nice the lawn looked after mowing with the 7117.

They make the striping for sure. Besides that the lawn looked like it was cut with a laser. I think that had to do with how deep the deck was and the fact that it was following the ground not the tractor.

The best grass cutter I have owned was my Homelite T15. (AC 416/Simplicity 3415 clone)
It didn’t stripe as well as my current Simplicity ZTR, but it cut better.

The best cutting tractor that runs in the fleet is the mf 7! That thing will lay down a clean cut....

Not running but the old John deere 110 had an amazing cut before the deck broke in 2.

Your right Aaron. The MF 7 deck cuts great and just fans out the grass clippings, no windrows or clumps out out that deck. And quiet, doesn't sound like a airplane ready for lift off.

Another one great cutting tractor/ deck is a LT81 Ford. Cuts just like the MF 7 but 36” wide, I think. Have not had it running in a lot of years.

My AC 416S does a great job, just to big for my yard.

Kenny. I just looked up your AC 416S on tractor data. Is the shuttle shifter for forward and reverse. Different sort of set up. Never had a AC, so don’t know much about them.

Yes, nearly like a hydro as you can set speed with out moving the throttle.

I have a 3415S and I don't thing it is quite as responsive as the hydros but then I haven't used it very much.
