So true!!Tom, just be sure whenever you need an ear to come here and get it off your chest. Our advice is cheap, and may be worth even less, but having people to talk to is priceless.
I never said that I have done this myself just knew of someone who said that he did, that's all.If you get caught doing that you'll do jail time. When I started my divorce my lawyer told me to sell nothing, buy nothing! He said I don't care if its a 100 dollar car sold for scrap. If its sold, and she can prove it then you will have to pay her the amount of what the court valued that asset at.
Now I believe you could sell off some assets that your wife "didn't know the value of or details" I could sell off guns and such and my wife would never know.
I hope that this isn't inappropriate under the circumstances but I have known people to get divorced, sell some valuable cars, tools, tractors and such for $1 so that the"half" that they had to give the ex amounted to 50 cents, then buy it back after the dust settled for the original $1.
Fortunately I have not ever had to go through any of that, still married to my 1st wife coming up on 28 years.
The phone time has been racking up. But I miss the face to face time.Tom, just be sure whenever you need an ear to come here and get it off your chest. Our advice is cheap, and may be worth even less, but having people to talk to is priceless.
