The Buick GS is my favorite, Bill. I never been a big ragtop fan and the custom treatments on the pickup and the '48 Buick don't do much for me. The shoebox Ford looks pretty nice.

Mine too Doug. A 455 Stage1 car but has auto on the column which kinda sucks a bit. Has an opening bid starting at 20k and no one bid on it yet.
I always thought those GS ,GSX models being a bother to the 442's, GTO's and Chevelle's really never got enough credit. And for one and only one reason is that they said Buick in front of them..jmo.

Agreed, Bill. Buick never really cut a niche in the muscle car world, but they had some great cars. Thanks for the link.

MOPAR FOR THE WIN, BOOOYAAA!! (You know how much I’m a Mopar guy.) Thats a pretty good price for that car. I figured the GS would go for a bit a money too since its desirable and a musclecar. Congratulations to all the buyers of those cars, it looks like they got some good ones.

Dang, the old shoebox was a pretty affordable buy at 2 grand! The GS did get some pretty good cash.

I was gonna say $2,000?!, you sure there ain’t an extra 0 or anything else in there Bill?! Thats kinda low, wow. I would think it would be $8,000 to $10,000.

The GS was advertised as being a documented one owner car. Don't find many 54 year old automobiles today from the original owners. Automatic on the column was a little different. Not sure if that helped or hurt the price..

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the old trucks. When you figure a "moderately loaded" Chevy now goes for over $80,000. up here and what that /47 Ford cost new, it makes me wonder (all over again) what the world's come to.
You got that right Lorna. Don't know what that 47 may have sold for new but I'll bet just adding a sealant wax coating to that new truck would cost more...!
