No gas used here because I never know where I’m going to be welding. I did purchase a pneumatic needle chipper which makes cleaning up the spatter breeze. Wish I had done that 50 years ago.

Most of you Ag, guys have to weld out in the wind so gas welding is useless. Back in late 1975 I was a welders assistant at a high voltage construction company. We would go up in a bucket truck to weld aluminum buss tubing. One of my jobs was to hold a tarp over the welder so wind wouldn't mess up the welds. I had welding sunburn several times trying to figure out how to help him do a good job.
