Just kidding - no sadness here. A few years ago I sold everything - I was at a point in my life when I was tired of working on everything all the time. I sold my GTs, truck projects, and shut down my farm. As of now life has settled out, I bought a new fuel injected cub to mow with. While it mows great I cant really work it. I wanted a old GT and kinda looked around. Never saw anything close and at a good price. A guy I work with drug this out of a barn. $150 delivered was a fair price I think. Its been sitting for over 5 years and appears to be in decent shape other than the front tires.

Garden season has already started so It wont be a part of the pre summer garden prep. I dont have any attachments and haven't seen a brinley plow for sale locally in forever. I had alot of fun at plow days and would like to do another one assuming people still have them.

Just by looking at it the broken seat hinge, bad front tires, and battery are the only issues. Cant wait to have a little time to see if it runs. It should, most do.

Got to mess with the ole girl a little. Front tires are junk and wont hold any air. The wiring is junk but with some jumpers I was able to get it started. Deck up/down works, Forward and reverse work. Carb is junk. The air cleaner was full of fuel when I took it off and it was spraying and leaking everywhere. Ive ordered a new Chinese carb and hopefully I can get going a drive it around the yard next week.

There should be a lever under your right leg sitting on the tractor that is the "high-neutral-low" range lever. The only way you can roll the tractor with the engine not running is that lever has to be in neutral.

It's that small black lever under the seat. I believe the instructions are under the seat on the label.

New tires and a new carb. Halfway drove it off the trailer. Wiring is completely shot. Deck is rested and has a broken spindle(i suspect the reason it was parked). hi low hydro lever only shifts from low to neutral. It wont go far enough forward to get into hi.

Glad to see you back at it again & with a nice project. I can understand your turning point in life. I'm 64 & sometimes I get so tired of working on things too.

They must have not been a big seller here in Central NY. I've only seen maybe 1 or 2 and couldn't even tell what models they were. Cool tractor.
