This pretty much sums it up

Well Mark I’m always listening to country music. Saturday nite hoe down on CFCY radio. It’s been going since 1958. There was the same station on all the time at home while growing up. And I listen to most types of music . Always some thing on in the garage too. I listen to those later today Mark.

I never heard of him. His songs have a nice sound. I'm not into music at all. Every once in awhile I'll get in a mood and listen to the radio in the car for more than just background noise. But country isn't my first choice. I was born in the 80s. Alternative rock to grunge rock is my choice.

Never heard of him and don't think I missed anything. Grew up with country and light Rock.. After high school it was strictly country and still that way. RFD has 4 hours of country every Sat night. Last night was the "Great Country Reunion" with a lot of gospel performers. If it ain't country, it ain't music except for some very relaxing native flute music by Wyara. Check him out.

That’s what I thought it was Mark. Next time I go, I’ll see if I can find it.

So. I figured out that John Prine is a song writer, not a song singer, so much. So that’s why I would not know his name. I have a hard time remembering the singers.

Listening to the hoe down tonite. And they didn’t have a song of him singing, but had a song he wrote. It was sung by George Strait.
