Tractor cab Heater

The heater works great! :D
It was around 2 degs. today and with the winds the wind chill was near -20. I was moving snow for many hours and I had to take my coat off. Really nice to work in ones shirt sleeves. Windows stayed clear and feet were comfortable.
Guessing we got between 12 and 18 inches of snow. At least the winds were not as strong as predicted but there was some drifting. Got the front drive cleared and then went to the neighbors. Heard that he was totally snowed in. He had at least one drift 6' deep with a lot of the snow near 4'. After clearing out his drive and parking areas I am far more impressed with this tractor. It's front wheel assist with R-4 tires and no chains. These tires are not suppose to be good in snow and mud but I never got stuck and could push against the snow hard enough that the Hydro would pull the engine down. The blower didn't pull it down.
I have some videos that my grandson down loaded onto this computer but have no clue how to post them. I'll do a little experimenting and see If I can figure it out. I don't use Picture Pail so that's out.
Thanks for the report Chris sounds like its doing a great job and the heater is working that's always nice, you got a lot more snow then I did ended up with about 6 inches here and likewise the wind wasn't as much as predicted had some smaller drifts, I plowed with the F0250 (nice and warm in it) then later cleaned up some with the Husqvarna and snowblower all in all pretty good here nice and sunny and -18*F here this AM

Thanks Noel. It is nice and I cant help thinking it would have been nice 20 years ago. All things come in their time I guess.
Didn't ask for any photos and he took 3 more videos than I was expecting. After watching them I see I could be doing somethings different. Kind of interesting as I don't think I've watched myself work before. If that's you can call it.

Wondering if that thing would burn waste oil.
Don

Don, I bet it can. Just has to be blended with a ratio to the diesel. Low viscosity or blending at small ratios for medium viscosity works best. Most tractors prior to the emission DEF and Tier-1 emission fuel pumps can burn nearly anything.
Don't know if I want to take a chance on ruining it (the heater) for such a small amount that you'd use though..

I wouldn't! That used oil has some real fine particles in it that could screw things up real quick.
Found this on the web.
One of the videos he refers to in his comments section they claim to be burning waste vegetable oil, hydraulic oil and a waste oils and they show a tear down of their heater after a couple years. The inside of the heater seems amazingly simple and durable. At the price point if I heated a corner of my shop and got rid of my waste oil for a year it would be worth buying a new one every year.
Don

Friend heated their tractor repair shop with waste oil, He said once just had to be careful that no gas got in the waste oil. 90% of what they burned was the transdraulic fluid and engine oil.
I have also understood that it is necessary to be careful about antifreeze. Burning that produces some nasty byproducts. Don
