My buddy spent quite a chunk of change putting Aggs and New tubes on his Cub 124 last summer. They were loaded with calcium. Well 3 weeks ago one of them went flat mowing. Got it back to the barn and it turns out that the valve core is gone from the tube. Not the valve stem, the whole core. All that remains is the rubber body. We put in a used 12" Good Year tube, seems to be ok. Well today we are mowing and guess what? Same failure on the other tube. Anybody else seen this? I have never seen anything of the sort. Is it possible to re-core the tube? ( I assume not, nor have I ever seen a core for sale ) Tubes weren't cheep either.
