Wow, quite a show. Thanks again for the pictures. you spent a lot of time doing that. What is the four paddled thing run by the steam tractor with a belt ? And whats it used for ?

It's a big fan. Takes a real tractor to spin it.
Faster you go, harder it gets
Kind of a Dyno.
 
That’s neat. But where I live the fireman would have a fit because it’s so hot and very dry here.
And hehe, the environmental nuts would have a stroke.

They shovel sawdust in the burner and stoke it. Can't get much more eco friendly that sawdust. Maybe recycled.toilet paper?

As for the dry. Kind of dry there too. They hauled in a tanker to water the ground a LOOOONG way out from the tractor just to be safe.
