Well the forecast is for 12" of snow

Wife shoveled the porch this morning and said we have about 4 inches so far. We are now in a blizzard warning so things could get interesting.
Jazz where are you located?

Thunder Bay Ontario, the top of Lake Superior. We were out for a hour to make driveway passable. Give it another go if or when the snow stops. Yanked my neighbours SS12 out of ditch that he got hung up in...first time in 50 years he'd done that.:)IMG_3181.JPG

Had 3” yesterday when I left for work. Rain melted it down during the day, then turned to snow again yesterday afternoon. Plowed out 3-4” last night, and got another 2” to plow out this morning. Temp dropped into the teens, so I will use the blower for the path back to the shed, which was not done yesterday.

I thought this thread was about snow?
Pretty close, they keep fish on ice.
Suns out this morning and it's 2 degs. We are still in a blizzard warning till noon because of blowing snow. Can't tell I blew the driveway open as its level again. Rural carrier said he ran into a 4 foot drift and called it a day. I'm leaving shortly for cardiac rehab. in Watertown. 20 mile drive on state hwy so should be good.

Well, we had a light show last night we are very close to I 94 and a Butane semi tanker rolled over in the medium so there was red blue amber flashing and binking lights from about 6:30 to 11:30 PM about a 1/2 mile from the house glad there was no leaking
6 degress this AM so pulled on the long johns and went into the shop and plugged in the F250 diesel but didn't notice that it didn't make good contact and I tried rushing things aso I fired twice but wouldn't go and the 10/12 yr old batteries went down so made sure the blocker was working and put the battery charger hopefully it will go this afternoon then everything will get replowed

Well this afternoon went much better, about 1 PM I tried the F250 and it started up so fast I almost jumped out to see what all the noise was

got everything plowed and cleaned up got the GT5000 out and man it blows snow so much better without a rock binding up the impeller had to tighten the belts but after that it was a snow blowing machine Between the 2 trailers it was pretty deep plus the ridge from the plow blew that out so the LP man can get to the tank, even made a wall and its working haven't seen an illegal come over it
Chris I have an onboard charge onit and its plugged in all the time and it works good

Also known as the middle of nowhere!

Got boot high snow, I mean knee high almost rubber boots, was out for all of 15 minutes till a chain broke 2 cross links on the Massey 14... went to the feed store and got repair parts

Hi all well here in west central MN they are forecasting about 12" of snow starting this afternoon and all day tomorrow so if that happens and the radar shows its moving close to us now the PK 1620 with the plow blade will get a workout along with the GT5000 and 42" blower so tomorrow morning it will be long johns and the bomber cap with ear laps down.
I didn't realized that you need MORE tractors to fight back winter! Nice fleet!

Well we got another 4 to 5 inches of light stuff last night so it starts all over again I'm betting Chris got some also how about you Jazz was there any lieft for you so you get that Suburban out again?
