Finally got brave enough to venture away from the property; went to look at a parts garden tractor that had a cast iron Peerless transaxle ( wanted one for a spare or parts). I bought the tractor, young guy couldn't remember what make it was, he used to drive it when he was a kid. It did have a 16 HP easy start Briggs & Stratton but got changed out sometime to an 8 hp from a snow blower. I have looked for serial numbers and decals but so far unable to locate any, the unit is solid with a good dash, tight steering. Any thoughts as to what it may be? thanks in advance
