What the heck is this for?

I've got this bracket and arms, I'm not sure what they are for. My best guess is for positioning the mower deck.
It came with a Massey Ferguson snow plow that I got at an auction, and is the same color red as the plow.
The "ladder frame" pivots on a shaft and slides up and down in the slots.
I've never seen one before and am not sure what it is. Rick

It's nothing like the deck mount on my '75 MF12G.

Rick, glad I could help you out so you were not up all night loosing sleep. It took me a few minutes to remember which one of my tractors I had repainted that had that style of bracket.
