Who do you trust?

My 2017 Sierra has 50K miles and the brakes have been bothering me for some time. It has had a pulsating issue that is getting worse.

I sent off to an online company for new Raybestos rotors and pads. After 10 days, I checked with the company and they said they had not been paid and as soon as they got the money, they would deliver. I checked with my bank, and they said that the money had been issued the day I ordered it. I had paid with PayPal and said bank suggested I complain to them. Bank contacted seller who said they would send my order. After several days I received a package and proceeded to start the brake repairs.

(Here is where the story starts to get crazy!) Upon opening the package, I find they only sent the two rear rotors and the front brake pads.

PayPal now realizes they are not cooperating. They are told to either send the parts or refund $363.11. After which I am told to return the parts at my expense ($90).

I am now waiting for another shoe to drop. I have purposely avoided mentioning the name of the company who is the subject of this post. I believe this website frowns on product bashing, and rightly so. If anyone is concerned, you can PM me.

I order from them often and never see a problem.
Let us know who.
So we don't mistakenly order there.
I've bought from a couple of shady companies over the years and "not" received what id bought before and had to get the source of the money involved (bank, Cc etc) as well but can't remember the names, they weren't "big name" places

Don't expect much from Pay Pal other than lot of run around and auto generated answers. I fought with them for a month on over ordered and over payment, I ordered one item and was sent 4 and paid for 4 through PayPal.

I don't pay for other peoples mistakes and I sure as heck wouldn't pay the return postage.
You can also get your bank involved if Paypal starts dragging their feet. Sofar Paypal has been good to us.

If I didn't pay postage, I would be stuck with a partial order for the full price. There is no other choice.

I contacted my bank first and they suggested contacting PayPal.

The one issue I had with a scammer, Paypal would not do anything for me. I set up an appointment the next day with the bank. I took all my information and emails. The bank cancelled the transaction with Paypal refunded my money and for my assurance go me setup with a new checking account.

Capitol One has what they call a virtual credit card. Credit card information is given to a company, (not the correct info) When this fake card is use by a valid company authorized to use that card it will liked back to the OEM card. If card is issued to a company, no individual person even from that company can use it. So far it has worked out good. Each company I do business with has a separate virtual card, amount charged is checked against the amount bill and then sent through. This has worked good for me.
