Last summer I installed an electronic generator controller to replace the old mechanical voltage regulator, the old VR was mounted on top of the starter/generator and under the hood, removing the hood on this tractor is a PITA so I just made a mount for the new VR an mounted it outside the hood. Monday I removed the hood and the old VR fabricated a new mt of the new VR, got the mount completed this morning and installed the regulator, everything cleared and fit with the hood installed got most all the wiring reconnected, started the engine and most everything is working, the lights aren't will have to figure that out this afternoon and I need to reconnect the mag switch and it should be good to go

The Country Squire is up and ready for work got the mad switch wire reconnected and working checked the lights with a test light had voltage pulled the switch on again and had a tail light and the RH headlight the LH one had burned out early this winter replaced the bulb and had light.

Maybe DAC could make you a smaller one.

Yes, I may be able to make you one if it is a sticker, as Kenny said, Gary. I would need to see the logo first and if it is something that I can do, just need the dimensions you need.

You said emblem though, and that might not be doable. Makes me think of a metal bolt-on logo.

Hi Doug no it would have been a sticker, I looked at all the pictures I could find this afternoon but found nothing I'm going to ask on the FB group if they had a decal maybe they didn't. As for the emblem Dodge Trucker mentioned the Ford Country Squire so that's were that idea came from I found a couple on e bay but they require drilling hole to mount and I'm not to keen on that

I can probably make a sticker version of that Ford logo, Gary. I just need to see what it looks like. I kinda remember but not quite! Could just design something custom too if that is along the lines you were thinking.

I just asked a couple of e bay sellers what the dimensions are on their emblems tomorrow I'll measure the hood on the CS to get an idea of how big it should be here's a couple of emblem pics for ideas here's the front of the hood

Ok I asked on FB and the consensus is they never had decals came from the factory plain, one fellow said his Dad bought one brand new in 1960 and it had no decals, but someone posted this picture of one with a Ford Country Squire emblem on it to bad the buzz saw is blocking some of it

Hi Gary, sorry my time on the forum is so limited, but if you can bear with me I think we can get something done here. What I would need is to narrow it down to which one you prefer, then I can work up a layout to the size you want. I can probably make a one or two color sticker version of the chrome emblems but duplicating that one off sticker would be a bit more involved.

Since Ford is kind of involved with this whole discussion, I made these last weekend. That isn't just a internet clip art Ford Logo. Anything that is readily available is later model. This logo is designed off the Ford tractor logo from the 1940's. They are considerably different than current blue ovals. The tractor logo was red of course too.

They are running board pads for the 1930 Model A in the picture. It's not a perfectly restored truck, but the owner just wanted a little detail since he drives it a lot.

The installation was pretty difficult with that texture, but I think the stickers are stuck good now!

Let me know what you think, Gary!

The one in that advertisement would be my preference since it is actual CS documentation. I would need a width mainly of how wide you would like it, Gary. Probably won't be until Sunday before I could work up a layout.

I'll try to figure out the measurements tomorrow but my morning it used up have an appointment at the VA for a hearing test etc. Yes I like CS doc as well
