Yesterday was a sad day

Well your username suggests that letting them go would be a good thing! I think we would all be sad to let go of a nice 102 like that, but as said a profit makes it worth it.

He admitted he wasn't very mechanically inclined and couldn't redo a tractor himself. Yet said he loved tractors. He will probably tell everyone he rebuilt them!

I used to work with a guy who was the opposite, it was all about the builds for him, he's had so many car in the last 20 yrs. He spent a year building a V8 Fiero, sold it within 3 months of finishing it. I'll be surprised if he keeps the 64 Nova he is building.

I knew a guy that built a new street rod every year, then would drive it to a show or two until he sold it. Then on to the next one. He could build one in nine months. Nice street rods. 34 and 35 Cadillacs. Today they would be resto mods. Stock appearing exterior with Cadillac big blocks, Corvette front suspension and steering, Ford rear, a/c power windows. He had a dozen in his basement waiting to be built. He was getting 60,000 and up a piece in the late 80's.
